CG, after you finish this month’s reserve work, we’re gonna need cleanup on aisle three.

GF, you're about to hit 40 hours. Need you to clock out.

Uhh, if I don't finish this we can't sell in the county

Can't afford the $13.50. Clock out.

I only hit 40 hours because I spent two hours yesterday at the service desk trying to explain to a woman that she cannot return her primary care visit.

Hopefully Target buys CIGNA and we can go work there.

This makes sense because of the clear synergy between building medicare advantage bids and bargain bin DVD sorting.

More seriously, despite that proliferation of old people at Walmart, this makes no sense at all.

I don't know about that. They are a pretty big pharmacy. There is some synergy to be had. Plus Cigna and United both have huge captive PBMs and retail pharmacy outlets and Humana is lagging in that department.

i assumed walmart would be the biggest retail provider of drop-in/urgent/primary care in the country at some point. this doesn't get in the way.

as for walmart dictating the price to providers - they can decline to accept humana members. risky, but in my experience when that happens usually it's the insurance company that gets tarred and feathered, not the providers.

The public never blames the providers. They have such a PR edge it's ridiculous. They are on the ground speaking directly to the patients. Plus, they are healers in lab coats which basically means they are infallible. No shows on ABC about an Actuary trying to mitigate trends set to a heart-wrenching soundtrack.
