Pure genius. The video of the African guys doing the Monty Python's "dead parrot sketch" is priceless.

I'll have to read some more of these. Someone should make a show of this like Crank Yankers....but with reenactments or snip its of the crazy things they can get the scammers to do.

So, I "went" to England, but didn't have time to call up my good friend Victor
Spoiler:

Mr Victoria

I had a wonderful visit to the great land of England. I was even able to visit Big Ben (the clock, not the football player). What is your favorite place to visit in England?

I'm sorry that we were not able to meet up while I was there. I was hoping you would meet me at the gate at the airport as I did not have much time before my appointment with Sir Cooper. Unfortunately, my phone does not function in your great nation (can you hear me now? No!)

I'm getting anxious that you are not serious about closing this deal that you would not even meet me at the airport.

I am not sure when I will be able to visit again.

Sincerely,

Bob.
He was kind enough to remind me that I could also wire him some money

Attention: Bob Ama,

You know we gave you two options to transfer your funds, if you can not travel to our country for the claims you can still use bank to bank transfer to transfer your winning prize.

Once again I say congratulation and hope to hear from you soon.

Warm Regards,
Agent Victor Smith (Mr)
Claims Agent (24hrs

maybe I'll get there again next week. How does your calendar look?
Spoiler:

That's very kind of you to be so accommodating.

I'm going to be making another trip there while on holiday.

Will you be in the office next week? I could drop on by. Perhaps, we could get together for a spot of tea.

Wouldn't that be nice?

Bob

It took him a while to respond again, so I sent another email.
Spoiler:

Victor Agent,

I haven't heard from you. I need to begin finalizing my return trip to England. Are you stationed in London?

Are you as upset about the Amanda Knox verdict as the rest of your countrymen?

Bob

and then he finally wrote back...including the first explicit request for money.

Attention: Bob Ama,

Thanks for your response, Yes because you informed us that you will be traveling to United Kingdom for the claims of your winning prize then after meeting with our diplomatic agent before you will have to meet your business partner while waiting for your update so we can pick you from the airport to our office we didn’t heard from you on till you return bank to your country after we have arrange your package awaiting for your arriver so we can deliver and know that we don with one of our winners but unfortunately your present was not found.

Since you failed to claim your funds do note that all document to claim your funds here in our office has been terminated so there is no way we can receive you over here in United Kingdom left the other option which is the bank to bank transfer otherwise you will have to re-activate your transaction with 500 British Pound to enable us to re-file for your coming otherwise there is nothing I can do.

Once again I say congratulation and hope to hear from you soon.

Spoiler:

Wow, 500 British Pounds? I only have US Dollars. Will you take a check? I'm not sure where I'm going to be able to get that kind of money on such short notice. Will you accept $100?

By the way, I just received a message from Mr Ken Wright of the Global Monetary Fund. He has some money for me, so I'm thinking that I'll get that money from him and then I can pay you to reprocess the trunk fee. I've attached the notice below. Tell me what you think.

I love the huge run on sentences in Victor's email. I can't believe anyone can fall for this stuff when they write so poorly.

I thought your reponse was good. when I saw where you stuck in Nigeria.
