If there is space still available for APC, the SoA may allow you to attend if you call and ask - I did this. I went to the December, 2009 APC in Dallas before even starting my IA. YMMV however this approach worked for me.

IMHO, if you get to the point where you have everything else on your transcript, I'd call the SoA.
They haven't graded any of my EOM's yet, thats just the first one I submitted haha.

Same boat as you. About to submit EOM7 and have heard nothing....granted I'm going at a decent pace. Submitted module 1 on 9/25.

Hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but you get credit for Module 5 as soon as you complete the EOM Test. Good luck on the IA!

mod 1 graded after 16.5 weeks and I am preparing for FA...

My friend told me once you submit FA, and you actually pass, your modules are graded in a short amount of time.

And if you submit FA, and you register for a fellowship module, your FA is graded quickly as well.

Can someone confirm or deny this?

Your friend is wrong. The grading for FA is not connected to any other modules. I received my module 6 and 7 passing grade about six weeks after I passed the FA.

They must not have liked you very much. I emailed the SOA 7 weeks into waiting on my IA results about how I was still waiting on Mod's 2-4 to be graded. Maybe a coincidence but I had them all three graded the very next day. I had submitted mod 2 over 3.5 months before that email was sent though...maybe they felt sorry for me
