They remade that too? I hate remakes, but I'll check out the original.

Justice League *** 1/2

Fast-paced, big-spectacle action and lulz

Justice League - 3.5 stars
Agree with Keef. Good action, fun film, a few chuckles. Solid film for the DC universe. WW still the best part of the group, but the comic relief of Flash is well worth it

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri ***** Loved this, black comedy without being absurd. Great characters with depth. I laughed, I cried and I said what the F***, multiple times. And every time I assumed something was, I found out I was wrong

War for the Planet of the Apes **** Excellent entry in the series, with a great & logical tie back to the original Apes films.

Pieles (Skins) ** Weird Spanish film about disfigured people that has a decent message, but so weird you can miss it

Kong: Skull Island **** Great cast and an excellent adventure ride. A brand new story from the others, but I am ok with that

I just saw an ad today and it's the first one I've seen in a long time where I immediately thought I need to see the movie. It's nice to hear I really do need to see it.

Hey Arnold : The Jungle Movie - 5 Stars
great sentimental send-off to a great underrated cartoon series of the 90s/2000s. Funny, sentimental, fulfills nostalgic desires and provides a proper conclusion to the mystery of Arnold's parents. Movie allows you to be a kid again.

The Dinner (Netflix)- 1.5 stars
I'm a fan of Richard Gere so when I saw the ad on Netflix I was intrigued. Laura Linney is also still pleasing on the eyes. Unfortunately, wasted opportunity. The main character is intentionally annoying but that makes the movie more unbearable to watch. Loosely based on a novel, two married couples come together for dinner to discuss a tragedy. The directing and artistic decisions spoil the main course. What may have worked as novel don't work as a movie and the director needs more practice. I believe the author of the book didn't even like this release because they 'hero-fied' Gere's character. Not worth a watch.

Another Pixar classic.

with movies like Coco & Moana I feel like the industry is getting better at truly capturing the culture of a society rather than adapting peripheral folk tales

What were your thoughts on the 20-minute Olaf "short" at the beginning?
