Default 2018 MLB Baseball Thread

Congrats to the Astros.

Now the new season starts.

And, of course, can we get any earlier to rank the teams? I await the 2019 ESPN Power Rankings next July.

Well, the Tigers have committed to sucking next year. Which team should I cheer for in addition to Detroit?

Nobody who plays their home games in Chicago, New York, or California, please.

Tigers sell-off continues.
Utility player Andrew Romine to the Mariners.
SP Anibal Sanchez to free agency.

Sox fan here but I think the Yanks will be a beast next year.
Sox needs to add a big bat this offseason

My bold prediction: Phillies will be garbage in 2018, maybe a little better than they finished in 2017. In 2019, they'll finish close to 0.500. In 2010, they'll make the playoffs. In 2021, they'll win the World Series. They're getting the young talent now, and they're going about the rebuild thing correctly.

Subtract a year from all of these and you have something similar to my expectations for the Reds.
