comcast is hit or miss. my internet service from them is much faster than what i actually pay for and is as reliable as i could reasonably expect any service provider to be. outages typically last for a short time and it's very infrequent.

i'd buy rabbit ears for a 19" black and white tv before i got tv service from them again.

well, maybe not, but you get the idea.

when i lived in fl kohls ran commercials even though they had no stores within 200 miles. my uncle told me they were gaging interest by hits to their website (i assume they would monitor where the ip address of the visitor was located) to determine where to open stores. true or not, it made sense.

i'm sure google is collecting zip codes based on people who enter their info on that page, since google collects data on everything.

I don't get what the big deal is. They don't have HBO, BBC America, AMC, The Big Ten Network, FX or ESPN (aka 75-90% of what I watch) and it costs more than what I'm paying for TV, internet and telephone combined.
