We've got a mini and I really like it. The kids can play music without needing a device to do so. I like the "good morning" command. It lets me know my plans for the day, the weather, and some news in the 7 minutes it takes to make coffee before the children come crashing down the stairs.

I plan on picking another one up for the upstairs bathroom. It would be great for shower music.

I got a mini for free with my phone. It's kind of useful for reminders/timers/quick cooking questions, but I don't know if it's something I would've bought myself. I'm renting a pretty small apartment so I'm a little limited on what I can actually automate (I don't even get to decide when or how much heat I have)

A few minor things I'd like to see in future updates:
- Specify my commute or give better information on public transit (ie Is the F train running with any delays)
- Add things to a specific shopping list in my Google Keep
- Play podcast from specific app (ie Hey Google play "Reply All" on PocketCasts). Currently I can start from my phone then cast to the Home which isn't too bad

sounds right. I'm hopeful the functionality improves because I'm really underwhelmed by the current state.

Is that because you don't do xmas lights? Or just a lame implementation of the app?

Won't have any trouble when you have a smart plug and name that plug "christmas lights"
