You get a fair amount of music included with Prime, but I pay extra for the "unlimited" music subscription. It's a pretty extensive collection. You can get a free 30 day trial

I think only the primary user can access the basic prime music.

I think this is correct, at least simultaneously. The Unlimited Plan has a family option which I did not need.

It used to be simultaneously, it is now only the primary user. My wife can't use her "family member" log in for prime music, she would have to use mine.

The exact wording in the email I received was "The price of the annual Prime membership increased from $99 to $119 on May 11, 2018 for new members. The new price will apply to renewals starting June 16, 2018."

But my membership doesn't expire in June. Apparently I received a generic email about when the renewal price is going up, but both of you received emails customized to your membership renewal dates.

Prime is my substitute for cable right now

I'm watching the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the miniseries) after just binging on Blackadder

I think they have a good idea as to who is paying for subscriptions. There's a lot re:video that I'm really enjoying. I'm willing to pay $10/month for it

Hmmm, to keep or not to keep. We're not watching any Prime shows right now (at least I'm not... guess I should check with Hubby before I cancel) and not ordering quite as much on Prime. Also not finding quite as many deals as I used to. Maybe it's time to cancel. At least when the current subscription runs out...

my email was generic. Pretty sure it expires in late November or early December
