Default VEE credit application

When the credits get approved, do you get a confirmation email of some sort?

Also what happens, for some reason the transcript(s) you sent somehow got lost on their way to SOA, and the credit(s) get disapproved. Do you have to reapply and repay the $50 for each credit or do they give you the opportunity to reconfirm that you indeed satisfied the requirements?

Thanks in advance.
Spoiler - for size:

The SOA has a link for those hoping to attain ASA/CERA prior to curriculum changes. Can anyone clarify the VEE section regarding course approval and credit application? Is this basically saying you must submit the course you want to apply toward a specific VEE topic by 2.16.2018 and submit the application by 4.27.2018 in order to become an ASA under the current curriculum? I know I will not achieve pre-change requirements, but I am currently working on my last VEE requirement, which is one that will change on July 1. As long as the topic directory says that approval will end on July 1, 2018 and I complete the topic before then I don't necessarily have to meet the the above deadlines, correct? I can submit an application for credit even after this date?
