Default Evidence journalists could benefit from passing Exam P

Article below summarizes:

Women, and shorter people, move their jaws more than men do, study found.

So then let’s draw a Venn diagram we have a box called “Men” and these all have the move their jaws not as much

Hence Short people are exclusively outside the “men” box?

Well here’s what could have happened.

Draft 1 : “Women move their jaws the most.”

Draft 1a : (internal use only off the record”)
Women and shorter people move their jaws the most.
Ohhhh that works, now we know even if short people overlaps women, that’s ok. It’s like “married women AND moms” tend to go to the beach on holiday. It works

So that add is acceptable

Draft 2: Let’s change to “Women move their jaws more than men”.

Publish yet? Ohhh we forgot the 1a edit which we confirmed worked fine ok add it back
“Women, and shorter people, move their jaws more than men, study finds.”

All done —-good job editors ...just in time
