Default Black Summer on Netflix

anyone watching this Netflix original? it's not great, but it's pretty good and it tells a part of the zombie story that gets glossed over on other shows.

the story picks up weeks or at most a few months into infection or whatever it is, so the show is all about the initial chaos of individuals trying to figure stuff out. no plot armor. each show is a series of episodes connected in some way, a couple of different story lines and survivor groups that converge and break apart. survivors are pretty unskilled, scrambling around, trying to not get eaten.

people turn almost immediately after death. they run and chase, don't just shamble along stupidly

worth a look if you're still interested in zombie genre

Liked it, while fully admitting that much of it is not great. Agreed that it's def worth a look.
