Yes there are. I think there is usually not an APC in January, but there should be one every other month of the year. They might decide to have an APC this upcoming January with the deadline approaching, but I wouldn't bank on that.

Is there any benefit for attending this early? I think I might just wait until next year so I can go to New York.

Yes. The first one was in February in NYC.

I don't think there's a particular benefit to attend this event early. But there will be a lot people attending the event in the first half of next year due to exam structure change in ASA. I guess also that's why grading for FAP modules and assessments were slowed down at different times this year. November and December APCs are still available this year. Earlier this year it had February, March, and April sessions.

True, but I don't think that will be a problem as long as I sign up early. I'm still waiting on my MFE score anyways.

It's interesting that they have two days for New Orleans.

Probably to compensate for higher than usual demand. We might see that be more common with the early APCs next year.
I mean, what's the marginal cost of adding one or two additional days? Especially if they can guarantee that those days get close to capacity? Might as well have 2 or 3 days per APC until March (April?), assuming the demand will be high enough.

Looks like registration is open for SD APC in Dec
Don't know if the Shanghai and Hong Kong APCs in November were closed before or if I wasn't paying attention because pretty sure my employer would rather I travel to New Orleans or SD
Hope they hurry up with the mod 7 grading...
