omg i've literally been dealing with this for a few weeks! the pain radiates into my quads but it stems from where the leg meets the hip and glutes.

i did a run/walk of 12 miles on saturday and it was painful on my right leg everytime i took a step but about halfway through the pain kind of numbed away and i was able to keep going.

there's a definite pressure point in my hip flexor and lying on a golf ball with the ball pressing into it really felt good. i've been foam rolling a lot in that area and starting the other day been putting my weight right above my butt cheek to the outer side into the foam roller and it feels like it's helping.

half marathon is next week and the pain radiating in my quads still hasn't gone away, it's been weeks gonna just have to power through the pain. i've run maybe once or twice a week for the past 3 weeks because of this, and all those runs were painful.

No, I'm not looking at them and wondering.
Nope, I have about 250 miles on my current pair. They are the same model/brand I have been using for years and they normally last 400-500 miles for me. In the past when they are getting worn I just get a little knee pain as a reminder to replace them.

Sorry to hear that. Good luck on your race.

Mine hurt and also made it tough to keep any sort of form. I felt like I was dragging that leg/foot once it started hurting. Mine is my right leg as well.

I only ran a 2 miler once this week since the 12 miles. The pain isn't as bad anymore but it's still there. I've been laying on a golf ball with my hip flexors on it and foam rolling my hips a bit and I think it's helping.

About to go on a run now, hoping for 5 miles. We'll see how it goes.

ETA: Did 5.91 miles at an OK pace. Leg pain wasn't so bad but cardio was the issue this time around since I haven't been able to keep up. Gonna do an hour of stationary bike tomorrow to help with cardio.
