the 11th edition 1st printing doesn't have the new syllabus material, you need the 2nd printing at a minimum

It does have the new syllabus material, but it was written before any actual exams had been released. As I recall the author said it remained OK to use but to ignore any comments about "unlikely to be tested", since several of those were tested. The 2nd printing reflects one released exam. The 12th edition reflects two released exams. Some coverage and sample questions have been modified, but all the new syllabus material is supposed to all be there. (I think; I haven't seen any of them firsthand.)
