RIP FA grading spreadsheet. Many pieces of data have been removed or damaged.

Where does it state that feedback will be free in the new FAP? This was my main complaint that I made to the SOA regarding the final assessment and I would be very glad if this was indeed the case.

Also, I asked so many questions to the ASAs at my company that they might as well have read my assessment word for word. I received DNMMR four times on FA.

2 and 5 of course.
This particular final assessment scenario has been going on for years now, I believe much longer than previous scenarios, and the problems that people consistently fail are 2 and 5. The SOA must be trying to tell us something about these two problems and the abilities that actuarial students often lack in order to be a successful actuary.

It's against the rules to have anyone peer review your paper. It says it right there in the instructions.

no offense, but if you didn't know this rule, I question if you missed things in the questions themselves when answering them.

also, just because they are ASA's or FSA's doesn't mean they are an expert at final assessment. They might have barely passed themselves.

2 and 5 were definitely the hardest for me.

The Changes to the Fundamentals of Actuarial Practice (FAP) Course in 2020 page says:

Scheduled assessment grade release dates also allow for the periodic release of model solutions from the FA. Candidates have told us they need more performance feedback. With the release of the model solutions, candidates will receive feedback as part of the course process. They will no longer need to purchase feedback.

Anyone think they’ll do another grading party in mid November? Last day to submit IA is 11/11 with results being released by 12/20. Wondering if they’ll try to clear the queue like they did for the last IA deadline in September.
