Default Mr. Robot on USA

Did anyone watch this? I thought that it was surprising good, I just hope that it can continue.

Most USA shows start off strong. not all finish strong. i.e. have a few good seasons, but the formula gets boring after a while.

(e.g. suits, covert affairs, burn notice, white collar)

I'll have to give this one a try, though, since I did like all of the above (and psych) at the beginning.

White Collar realized it was waning and finished with a strong finale.

Suits jumped the shark a while back, but still manages to be somewhat entertaining (read: Donna and Rachel are hawt )

Burn Notice played leapfrog with the shark for a few seasons before floundering to a mediocre (and highly predictable) ending.

Nothing wrong with a predictable ending. EVERYBODY knew Walter White was going to die.

This show was much different than most other USA shows though which is why I am more intrigued. It seems to be following the trend of darker themes whereas most of the other shows that USA has done that I watched are more light hearted (even a show like covert affairs and burn notice that seemed to have comical characters mixed in).

wow, just watched this last night and it was good.

i was glad they moved the plot along quickly. got to Mr Robot right away and really have me invested in the main character.

i agree though about USA shows in general. they have a tendency to go on just a little longer than they should. i stuck out all of Burn Notice and Psych but both were definitely dropping off the last couple of seasons. I stopped watching Suits after like season 2. I heard that about While Collar and covert affairs but i didn't watch either of them. I watched the first season of Graceland, but the second season just didn't seem as interesting to me, a combination of how the first season ended and the huge break before more episodes.

anyway, i'm going to keep watching.

Should I start this?

Where does it rank compared to the other half dozen or so scifi-ish summer series/mini-series?
