Default 2019 SOA Section Council Elections

It's that time of year again -- time to indicate interest in running for Section Councils!

If you're interested, please fill out the form
https://www.soa.org/elections/sectio...interest-form/

My understanding re: eligibility for section council
1. You must be a member of the section where you're running for council
2. You have to be an SOA member (yes, new ASAs can do it, too!)
3. You have to be compliant with CE requirements

Deadline to indicate interest is May 31.

I see Doug Norris is running for Health Section Council (I'm not a member of that section, though -- but good luck, Doug!)

Thanks!

I had a great experience on the Predictive Analytics/Futurism section council, and have a belief that the Health section has similar magic.

I would like to suggest everyone votes for Sisi Wu for the Long Term Care Insurance Council when polls open on Monday August 19th. She has a lot of great experience across multiple accounting bases (including IFRS and CGAAP!) as well as across multiple functional and product areas. LTC is a vital product facing unique challenges, and I think Sisi could do a lot of good as one of our SOA leaders on these issues.
