Well I purchase TIA for Exam C because like you I am a visual learner. I'm am trying to finish the Loss Models portions of the seminar, I still have the frequency and aggregate distribution to cover. After that my guess it where the meat of the exam will start. I have Mahler as a supplement and planned to purchase ADAPT later on to handle the exam questions better. Good you passed MFE which I've done long ago. Waiting on my results for CAS Exam ST. I don't know when exactly they will be released. At least this is a CBT exam where I can get a hint.

I know it's super early, but I'm a slow learner and I will take 2 times the amount of time others need so I'm starting ahead.

Exam Window: June 21-27
Registration Deadline: May 11
Paper and Pencil: June 21

I read couple of recent study threads and it seems like the consensus is that the ADAPT doesn't prepare you for the real exam as it does for MFE (for MFE, the exams were sometimes word for word).
I'm a visual learner and need someone to teach me instead of reading through the manual, so I'm going to subscribe to TIA and purchase Mahler's exams

So who's with me??

I copied this from last year's thread.

When're you thinking of starting aNYthing?
Probably around the same time. I have a month off from school soon, so hopefully I don't get too lazy and slack off.

The learning process of this material is sooooo slow.

I am barely doing Section 2 exercises.

Then it will cost 300 for me. So why is Adapt not enough?

It was for me but YMMV. I used ASM + 2 week ADAPT.

Hi. I thought I would join this party. I also just passed MFE in November.

I choose to do C instead of MLC because I don't want to commit to any exam track just yet. Also, the difference between MLC offered in May and C offered in June might just give me the fillip I need to pass on the FIRST attempt. Good luck to everyone who is sitting with me!
