The extra $250 seems like a big price jump from the XR to the XS and the difference doesn't seem to be that big. I wouldn't be shocked if the XR is the top seller.

It's crazy that if you want the Max with 512GB of storage it's going to cost $1,450. I can't imagine paying that much for a phone. I'd much rather go with the Note for $1,000 with it's expandable storage.

These prices seem like they are getting pretty crazy in general. There have been articles about phones taking big jumps in prices so I'll be curious to see where the Pixel 3 is priced at.

Manipulating women...now THAT's hard. Probably because most woman have no clue what they like.

Phones will get cheaper when people stop buying the expensive ones.

Xr you can't even watch 1080P video.

IMO - When you look at how the pocophone is priced at $300 or the one plus at $500. It is hard to justify spending double and triple that price for an I-Phone.

Well, it's kind of unreasonable to compare spending behavior blindly. Different consumers have different uses, wants, and needs. I could never justify spending $3000 on a first class flight because I don't value the marginal benefits over an economy seat enough, but other people do.

uh no, plenty of options at that price point with phones that were unfathomable 10 years ago. You can't get the latest high-end iPhone for free; c'est la vie.

Yeah, there are a lot of really serviceable phones quite cheap on the market right now. The whole 3rd world does their business on low-to-medium grade phones. It's just the latest greatest flagships that are really expensive.

For instance, you can get the project-Fi moto X4 (which supports a user-provided chip for storing your photos and music and stuff, and also still has a speaker jack) for $250.

I don't even know what "flagship specs" means these days. The mid-level phones are really good.
