I'll mark your prediction. It's kind of hard to analyze his tendency of "taking what the defense gives you unless there is nothing than just flat out being better than them". He is going to have a 0 TD/3 INT game sometime this season, but that just means he had a bad day. I see staying power for him as opposed to Deshaun "Just chuck it deep and hope my guy comes down with it" Watson.

After looking at the schedule, I could see the next two games being tough for Mahomes. They have a short week to get ready to go against one of the best defenses in the league (Jacksonville) then have to go to Foxboro and play a Patriots team that will get an extra 3 days of rest and time to prepare for him. That's rough.

Speaking of the Patriots, did you see the play where they had 3 calls against them? The commentators were funny:

"That's a lot of penalties."

"You'd think the Patriots were trying to get an unfair advantage on that play."

I think Deshaun has been okay when I saw him play, he should have had 2 TD passes last game. He really needs to work on not holding the ball so long so often. Last year the big plays were there, this year he's getting sacked waiting on it. His sack total in four games is going to equal what he did in 7 last year, they know he likes to hold the ball now.

After that roughing call against Bennett on Cousins, I have to say the NFL is officially broken.

WHAT. THE. HELL.

Roughing calls are the new normal in the NFL sometimes they are going to go against your team sometimes they are going to go for your team. The sooner we can all accept that the easier it will be. I'm not saying that's a good thing, just saying the sport will never move in a direction that the chance of QBs to get injured to increase.

Either that or stop watching football.

I saw the play, thought it was ridiculous, but figured maybe it met some ticky-tack definition of the new rule everyone hates. Then after halftime I heard an Eagles radio announcer say they had confirmation from an official that the reason roughing the passer was called was because Bennett had "rolled up on the QB's knee"... which is a thing that never happened.

And one of those TDs ended with a missed PAT (another had a 2pt conversion).

13 points on missed kicks, plus the field position reversal on those missed FGs.
