any recommendations?

I didn't think that was on the syllabus. It certainly wasn't in the ASM manual and it doesn't show up on the two old MAS-I and one practice exam I've walked through. Where are you concerned?

Anyone else getting wrecked by Mahler's practice exams? I've done the first 4 so far and overall I'm finding the questions on them to be more difficult than the previous MAS-1 and Exam S questions I did.

I am unfortunately still doing my second pass-through of Mahler's.

I plan to start those exams 30 days out from exam day.

Default I'm a bit nervous, but studying is going pretty well

Hey guys, I used ASM. Now I'm focusing my time on practice problems and solving each problem that I got wrong and using formula sheets and the ASM text if I have to, and reviewing the tough problems every day until I have them down pat. I did a practice exam and got a 10/35 (supposed to be 45 questions, but the simulated exams on ASM only have 35 for some reason...). I'm a little nervous but I think if I put in enough time over the next month I'll be okay. I have poisson processes down, but have to work on regressions and hypothesis testing. Definitely have to work on my speed, and test taking, but that will come, as it did for the other exams.

I might even get somewhat lucky, as the exam may be postponed... we'll see.

What do you think will happen with COVID-19/Spring 2020 sitting? CAS said they are "considering contingency plans" but that is all the information they have provided.

Good luck everyone & stay safe!

Just got an email that the spring exams are postponed. They hope to schedule them for mid-June.

TIA and in the syllabus itís in 7. life contingency problems. i think TIA is more than sufficient for both MAS-I & MAS-II IMO
