I think you should still sit for it. At least you get to have an idea of how the exam is and what type of questions you might expect in the next sitting.

How is everyone's studying going? I've been using CA exclusively for practice exams and adapt quizzes. I'm at EL 5.5. Personally, I find the conceptual questions tougher but I'll be prepared before my exam on March 13th.

I'm at a 6.4.

Idk, the last few exams I've passed I haven't felt extremely confident on. They've been around the 6 level, so hopefully they're a little harder than the real thing. At this rate though, I'm going to walk out of there having no idea whether or not I passed.

Some of the BS and binomial pricing problems can require a lot of random creative algebraic manipulation I would never think of on test day (without wasting 20+ minutes on a single problem).

Hope studying is going well for everyone. I've been knocking out some Adapt exams, but I've been reading about SOA problems being a good source as well.

I'm having trouble actually finding those problems, so could anyone point me in the direction of those?

Hope all goes well for everyone, CA's been helpful but I'm cautious despite my EL. Good luck!

If you go to the March Syllabus, there are links on the last page for both problems from past MFE exams (for the derivatives portion) and newly created questions that are representative of what is expected (for the corporate finance part).

All those sample problems are included in Adapt. On your dashboard, you can click on "IFM Sample Questions Videos" under Resources. There are links that will direct you to the sample problems. Video solutions for all these problems are also available there as well.

Just finished midterms. I take it on Monday so I'm just going to take two more practice tests ( lvl 6 and 5) and focus mostly on reviewing formulas/conceptual material. If I try and study Sunday I'll just freak myself out and second guess everything I've learned so I'm going to take that day to just relax and get some rest. Might review some formulas Monday morning.

EL is still a 6.4 on adapt. Got 19-20/30 on level 6.4 tests with a couple really dumb mistakes so hopefully thats enough! Good luck everyone

I managed to get to level 6.8 on adapt. But, since I'm taking the real thing on Saturday, I figured I would go back and do a level 5 custom exam. Got 29/30! So, I feel pretty good. Still kind of nervous about the conceptual questions that people seem to think are harder than Adapt's. Good luck to everyone else!

Good luck everyone! I'm taking it on the last day. So far I'm pulling myself up in the ADAPT exams. Hoping to get at least an EL 6 before the exam day.
