Default July 2019 IFM Exam

Hey all!

It's never too early.

How is everyone feeling with their studying? This will be my first IFM sitting and I'm using ADAPT + CA Manual

I signed up to take IFM at Monroeville, PA in July. I am leaning towards buying an Actex study manual online.

Joining the fun...

I'm two weeks into using the full CA study bundle to prepare and feeling good so far. I pretty much stick to the manual and Adapt quizzes right now and only consult videos when I want more explanation. Hoping to leave 35-40 days on the tail end for full practice exams.

Just started studying this week with using CA. Didn't use them for P or FM, but enjoying them so far.

Mostly watching videos and doing their post-section assessments.

Default Study Guides

I am going to try the free trials of the Actex online manual and GOAL practice problems this weekend. I will probably purchase a manual in the next week.

Has anyone tried studying for IFM using primarily Actex or ASM? I am trying the free one-day trial, but many of the online features are not available with the trial. GOAL practice problems look pretty good and I used them for FM, which I passed on my first try.

Would not recommend ASM. Was way too dense for me. Everyone else has mentioned that it has a ton of errors.

Get a hold of the CA formula sheet (or better yet the CA bundle) Very useful IMO, has summaries/bullet points that cover a lot of the qualitative/conceptual stuff

I just added more content to the IFM formula sheet. Stay tuned for an updated formula sheet early next week!

New material often has errors, but it looks like most of them have been caught already. The errata list for the last printing was only 2 pages, with no errors reported since 3/24.
