Some people have far less patience than you, Lucy.

For instance, when I'm trying to concentrate, I pick up on every little thing people are doing around me - from breathing through their noses, to coughing, to jittering their legs up and down. I'm grateful for the no food rule - it's one less distraction I need to deal with. Also, if they allowed food, you know there would be people who would not employ as much respect as you did - they'd bring unopened bags and wrappers and chew with their mouths open and smack their gum. Yes, without the rule, I would be that much more annoyed.

One time, though, I bombed an exam because I was distracted by the hot girl's short-shirt, low jeans, and thong combination that kept me drooling through the entire exam. I'm a little surprised the SOA has no rules for "appropriate clothing" in an exam sitting. Seriously - if I didn't actually pay to take these things, I'd be inclined to show up in a robe and towel one sitting just to see if they let me take the exam... maybe take the robe off halfway through if it's too hot in the exam room. By the way, enjoy your lunch!
