Default Apple Event Live Now

Not sure if anyone else is tuned in or if there's a thread to this. I'm watching it here: https://comicbook.com/gaming/2018/09...t-live-online/

So far they've announced the series 4 apple watch, with upgraded processor, sensors, speaker/microphone, electrode sensors to take your own ECG. Pretty interesting. Curious to see next iPhones and whatnot.

iPhone Xs - starting $999
iPhone Xs Max - Starting $1099
iPhone Xr - starting $749

All with A12 bionic chip, but Xr has cheaper LCD screen and single rear camera. I appreciate the lower price tag on that one, and might consider switching from Android for it, but I kind of want to get a better comparison of what's not possible or available in the Xr from the Xs due to those limitations.

What do you want from an apple phone that you aren't happy with in an android?

Nothing from this keynote was impressive but I'm likely going to upgrade to the max anyway because I want a larger screen and rarely hold my phone up to my ear.

No bloatware. Or, very little.

recently switched to android, but thinking of switching back. both are about the same, except feels like android needs constant tweaking

There are really only two real reasons I would want to switch. My wife has an iphone and if I were to get one, a few things would be easier (airdrop / facetime / me helping troubleshoot issues she has / recommend apps etc).
Also, she's a blogger/influencer, and upgrading to these cameras (she has a 6s, my android camera on moto z force is sad) would allow us to use our phones for impromptu photoshoots whenever and wherever. Normally we have to plan things out and I bring the DSLR and equipment. Of course it's not exactly the same, but for these uses and applications, it would actually save a lot of headache and hassle that comes from our current setup.

My wife has iphone and apple has the best watch (by far). I've considered switching but it seems like a huge hassle so I probably never will. Nothing in this release moves the needle for me.

I don't know if there are any androids with really good cameras right now, but the iphone does have a surprisingly good camera these days.

My prior android actually had a better camera than my current one. Alas, the battery was wearing out and I couldn't get a replacement. The prior one was competitive with its generation of iPhones, but the iPhones have continues to improve, and I have no idea about androids, because they've gotten good enough that I I dropped from "premium" to "medium" grade. Of course, I'm not a blogger.
