I keep refreshing the Amazon page to see if they're still available. I like this "see if AOers can get a Switch for MSRP" game.

Dangit... placed my order. If nothing else, I can gift it to my parents and I'll have something to do when I visit them.

Edit: and thanks for the info.

Looks like you can buy a gray one that ships from Korea and arrives Aug 3-23 for $290. Sounds like a steal.

Fired up Pillars of Eternity again the other day. Something always seems to come up and I have to abandon it.

I just found out Mass Effect Andromeda has a 10 hour "trial" on PS4 and XB1 (previously, this was only available on EA's Origin service). I set it up to download and I'll likely give it a try this week.

I'm slowly trying to complete the Zelda BOTW Trial of the Sword. I've beaten the Beginner and Middle Trials and have only made one attempt at the Final Trails.

I played a large chunk of Resident Evil 7 this weekend. This is a fantastic game. I almost wish that the molded enemies didn't exist, because the tension was really high for me up until that reveal.

I have it downloaded. Do you know if progress would carry to the full game?

I heard that it does. What I don't know is if I can buy a physical version of the game and have progress carried over to that. I would assume so, but want to find out before purchasing a physical copy only to find out it doesn't work (which happened to me with Witcher 3's "Complete" edition not working with my original Witcher 3 save). I just feel like I'll find a better deal on ME:A on physical than digital.

Yeah, the molded are definitely a weak spot. They're pretty bland as far as enemies go. I'm glad there are still enemies outside of the Bakers though. The hide-and-seek nature already feels a bit derivative of other games like Outlast and Amnesia. The introduction of the molded means that resource economy for things like ammo and healing items comes into play. This is important for Resident Evil games IMO.

I suppose so. Not sure how to do it different though, so I won't complain too much.
