Heh, quite sure I've worked for a company with below-average claims processing, but I'm not sure that I was ever able to convince management of this.

I would guess that my employers have typically had average to good claims handling for our "core" business, but below-average claims handling for other lines.

Makes sense... the area where I thought claims management was below average was not the core business.
