Why not 19 years?

All jokes aside, holy smokes, he passed 3 exams in high school.

I have a friend starting at Liberty Mutual making 90k with all prelims passed and 0 experience. No reason why this kid shouldn't make 100k+ right out the gate. He's got the work exp and the letters behind his name.

If he doesn't have EA, he's close to useless in pensions. Or so I've heard.

So... he didn't have an employer pay all his exam fees and materials costs? What a dumbass.

That's a good point. What would he be down assuming he passed everything on the first attempt and used minimal study materials?

Puh-lease. I've seen college students spend more than that on things like cars, clothing, and even alcohol. And now he doesn't have to worry about exams for the entirety of his working life.

Just because some people spend an inordinate amount of money on frivolous things doesn't mean paying your own way thru exam fees isn't stupid.

Waiting until he has a full-time job and then studying at nights just to be reimbursed a few thousand dollars is much costlier in the long-run than just passing the exams up front in my opinion.

Doesn't Drake pay part or all of the exam fee? Pretty sure they used to - I think my company paid for part of that in a prior life.
