Hi All,

This is Stephen Camilli, the publisher of this book, authored by Roy Ju and Mike Jennings. Apologies for some of the misunderstanding surrounding this thread. According to our best understanding, a friend of Roy and Mikeís wanted to help them out, and posted the original threads here a bit awkwardly. I read the original manuscript of this text, was quite impressed by it, and worked with them extensively to improve upon it, and make it into a book that we felt would be valuable to anyone taking actuarial exams. We will be coming out with some more formal marketing about this book a little closer to the bookís launch date of May 16.

To follow up on some of the questions and comments, there is original content in here along with a consolidation and collection of material from many other places that are then adapted to be specifically targeted towards actuarial exams. Material in many good books comes from other sources, but the value inherent in them is that it saves you time and effectively consolidates information for your specific need.

Iím happy to address any serious, content-related questions here, via PM, or at stephen@actexmadriver.com.

Thanks,

Stephen

YOU MEAN I HAVE TO WAIT 8 6 WEEKS TO IMPROVE MY EXAM SCORE?

(I'm being a bit silly above, BTW.)

Sounds good. FWIW, I'm willing to share my review with you directly along with a review to the AO once it gets out.

Lol. Misunderstandings? Pretty sure we all understood what was going on here. I wouldn't buy a book from someone that tries to anonymously spam forums.
