I don't know, but I would like to say congratulations to you for the new endeavor and having the balls to strike it out on your own!

My to-do checklist:
Professional liability insurance (in case I get sued for bad advice)
Accountant (Help set up LLC/type of business)
Lawyer
SAS License
Microsoft License
New Computer and monitor
Checking account for LLC
Make up an invoice
Pay my dues to SOA and AAA
Biography
Business Cards
Credit Card
Website (do you recommend making one with peoplesoft?)
Phone/Fax Line
Do I need a non-compete? or even a non-disclosure? agreements?
BAA
NDA
Invoice
Time Tracking software
What else am I not thinking of?

A dedicated phone line for your business?
An email domain that's more custom than gmail.com?

Neither are absolutely necessary, just the things that came to my mind.

R is free...

Use a VOIP instead of an actual phone/fax line.

Track every expense. If you don't reimburse yourself from the business income, it's deductible (or at least, used to be...)

Don't employ yourself. Create a partnership. First 20% of your income is (federal) tax free if it's as a pass through and you're under $150k-ish, which you likely will be in year 1.

Remember to do a private placement on the AO, and then have the board members vote on any strategic decisions.
