Default Is it possible to get our exam back?

I really want to see mine. I felt I did well overall, so I really want to find out what failed me, and if there's a chance for me to appeal. I looked at the solution, but it's hard to remember what exactly I put on my exam paper without having it. I heard last year they let people request their exam back, any idea if they would do the same this year?

You'll get a report about how the scoring went on your Exam--% of possible points attained and a ratio of your score relative to the mean score for that item overall.

Use that to see where you thought you did well but the points didn't agree. You get the advantage of looking at Grader's report on where folks missed. Use that to make the needed adjustments to your studying.

Thanks guys.
I made a rough estimate of my score based on my grade slip (just taking the average of the range for all questions), and compared it to last year's pass mark. It was a pass. I don't know if this year's pass mark is comparable to last year's, but I feel I should be very close. Having my exam in front of me would definitely be helpful instead of trying to recall all the little details I wrote on the paper three months ago, and perhaps some of the small details would actually make a difference... This is so frustrating.

I think students who scored a 5 would benefit most from getting their actual answers back since there might be an issue of thinking they did well vs. missing some critical aspect of communication.

Several candidates that did get their answers back last sitting and asked input from the AO about their response vs. sample solutions and in many cases, the issue seemed centered around key terms that were vital to the sample solution but missing from the student's answer.

This isn't something that can be effectively addressed by Grader's comments and student recall of their answers.
