1) C
2) MLC
3) MFE

It might be a toss up between MLC and MFE depending on your education, and how well you were taught MLC. If you didn't learn Life contingencies in school I would say MLC is way harder than MFE.

I was not taught either the MFE or the MLC material in school actually. Maybe I will find them equally difficult. I was really hoping to hear that it would be easier than MFE since I am really not a fan of MFE at this point!

Even though I have been taught lifecon in school, I still think the material for MLC is much much more intuitive and therefore easier than MFE. Even though there is more material on MLC, i found mlc material being much easier to relate to. MFE was very tough to understand intuitively, atleast for me!

I would rank them in the same exact order.

MFE has difficult questions but it is a lot easier to gain an understanding of the material. There isn't much material that is extremely difficult to understand. The amount of material on MLC and C make it much more difficult than MFE.

To quantify and rank by approximate number of hours required by a first time taker to be comfortable before taking the exam.

Exam C: 450
Exam MLC: 350
Exam MFE: 175

I haven't taken C but as far as the other exams I have passed I have had a lot more difficulty MFE then any of the other exams. MLC I think has more material but you dont really need to "understand" it was much as you NEED to for MFE. MLC is really more of a process/formula type of an exam.

IMO

Hardest........................Easiest
MFE...........MLC.....FM.....P

Well, it dopends on person's experience and college major. Some people are just good at one part, bad at another.

This is mine:

MFE > P > MLC > FM

Let's say if I read the material and try the end of the chapter problems (ASM), I usually solved at least 1/3 or half on first try for MLC and FM. For P and MFE, I solved them over and over and over and over.. to get it.
