Default Modeling Individual Disability Insurance

What are some good resources to read about modeling individual disability insurance within an actuarial context?

The SOA has produced a number of disability studies over the years and you can find them for free on their website.

A google search turned up all kinds of things, such as the book "Actuarial Models for Disability Insurance" by Steven Haberman. I haven't read it and don't know anything about it, but it looks relevant.

Milliman publishes disability information periodically. You can probably find some summary information on the web. Presumably you will need to pay for the details.

Also, look at the ASOP's and look for practice notes.

I think this, along with LTC, is going to become the next big concern in addition to Health Care Trends and costs.

Time Magazine had a good article this past week (In addition to several other cool stories - Geniuses and Top 25 2017 inventions).
