Part of the "special treatment" includes getting him a personal bodyguard against his own self.
Again, some teams don't know how to deal with it and don't want to learn.
Others say, OK, one more option for our QB, who knows how to find options.

Yes the NFL rules on pot are pretty archaic.

Seattle could be a good place for Gordon. I don’t mind talented players with inner demons. He hasn’t been a guy hurting others. Right environment can change everything. He is and will always be an addict. I hope his team mates are good for him here.

Seahawks-Eagles game got flexed from Sunday Night Football spot to the early game. Disappointed as that means a 10am Pacific Time start for the Hawks but I can understand preferring to broadcast the 49’ers-Packers game in the prime time slot. Hawks still have evening slots for the following two weeks against Vikings and Rams.

I still have a chance to see this, if the NFL thinks Angelenos are interested in division team vs wild-card competition. None of the other Fox games look at all interesting for So Cal. Chargers also off, after playing over the wall this Monday.

Both GB and SF will still be in first place in their divisions, even if both lose this week.

And, hey, get a DVR, Cookie!! I might be on my way to the Grand Canyon that morning, but I'll watch it when I get back before (USA) Thanksgiving.

My concern about the 10 am Pacific start time was for the Hawks’ body clocks rather than my viewing preference. I have my annual Grey Cup party (aka the Grand National Drunk) later that day so the early start time for the Hawks fits my schedule nicely.

Upcoming:
I see that they are on Monday.

Then Sunday night.

Then at CAR in the morning against three other games, while LAR in the afternoon and LAC at night.

Then vs ARI, but up against the "national game" of DAL at PHI.

Then, so far, vs SF in the afternoon, but up against AZ at LAR. Looks like the best game to flex to Sunday Night, since it will likely determine the NFC West Champion. Unless SF can't get flexed again due to this recent decision.

I would hope that that the SEA management and planning people have figured out how to prepare the team to travel to the east coast and play those "morning" games by now.

If I were in charge:
The main goal should be to get the players asleep by 8PM Pacific time.
With that in mind, I'd make them all stay awake during the flight. Five-hour team meeting, essentially. Skits, calisthenics, etc.
They'll be tired enough when they touch down. (Heh-heh.)
Maybe a turkey dinner.

It’s a tough remaining schedule for the Hawks but I think two more wins gets them a wild card spot and three more wins might just get them the division if they beat SF in the final game.
