Re-reading Mistborn original trilogy... this is fun. I love re-reading books and recognizing all the foreshadowing for what it is and catching all the things you missed the first time through. Reading about Vin in Camon's gang again is almost surreal. And knowing what all the flavor text before each chapter actually means... haha. Man, this is a blast.

My wife finished The Final Empire last night. I am way excited that she's getting into this and enjoying it. She got so sucked in that she read the last third of the book in a day.
She started in on Well of Ascension right afterward, I think she's 2 or 3 chapters in so far.

I was trying to re-read it with her, but I'm having trouble keeping up. I just got to Part 5 of TFE.

I'm re-reading (audio) the last 4 books of the WoT...just started The Gathering Storm.

At the same time, I'm 2/3 of the way through Warbreaker, reading it before bed each night. Should finish that this weekend...though maybe not with March Madness in full swing!

The whole reason I started Wheel of time was because of Sanderson. I'm on book 4 now.

About 70% through my re-read of Firefight, then I can move on to Calamity.

edit: Wild guess about the "Apocalypse Guard" books announced earlier this year:

Spoiler:
They're set in the "opposite world" Megan pulls the "Firefight" image from. And if everything is backwards, the development of powers then brings out altruism rather than selfishness.

My brother recommended WoT to me a few years back, and I finally got around to reading Book 1 last year. I knew that Jordan dies and another writer had to finish the series, which prompted me to read the Mistborn series before resuming WoT to see if I liked Sanderson's writing style.

Definitely need to check out the rest of his works... if only studying didn't get in the way :-/

Here's how to read the Wheel of Time:

Read the first seven books.

Skip book eight.

Only read the chapters of book 9 that are about Perrin, Mat or Rand.

Skip book ten.

Read book eleven, but feel free to skip over any parts that are boring.

Read the last three books.

I have no idea why I'm doing this, but here is my Brandon Sanderson reading history so far:

1) Mistborn: The Final Empire
2) The Well of Ascension
3) The Hero of Ages
4) Elantris
5) Warbreaker
6) The Way of Kings
7) The Alloy of Law
8) The Emperor's Soul
9) Shadows for Silence in the Forest of Hell
10) Sixth of the Dusk
11) Words of Radiance
12) Shadows of Self
13) Elantris (reread)
14) Bands of Mourning
15) Mistborn: Secret History
16) Steelheart
17) Firefight
18) Calamity
19) Mistborn: The Final Empire (reread)
20) The Well of Ascension (reread)

I'm planning on going through all the Cosmere stuff a second time before I get to whatever I decide to read next.
