There's a few other players worthy of being taken 1st overall, they may even be better fantasy options for this year alone. But Bregman ticks every box for a potential three-year keeper to build my teams around.

There was no clear cut 1.01 this year, I think the case could be made for 5-8 guys.

Bregman, Machado and Ramiez were my top 3 choices but Story, Turner and Altuve are all good choices too as well as a couple others like Harper, Freeman and Stanton. Any of which could go off for a monster fantasy year.

Deep pool on the first round this year.
