Hi,

Are there any new updated formula sheet or study notes that people can share and upload in this forum? Sharing is the best way to help each other!!

Thanks!

12.2 the first rC need h?
14.1 k must be c in the 2 values (3rd and fourth)?
14.2, last formula need - ?

Formula Practice and Solutions

Hey all,

I was going to attach a zip file of my formula practice sheet and solutions, but AO has a very small size allowance for zip files. Anyways, anyone interested can find it here:

The solutions might have errors, so be aware of that (not too many, if any). And I gave the exam in Nov 2012 and passed!-) I personally found it useful to do this about a month or more before the exam. Put all the formulas in my head even if I didn't understand them.

I'd also suggest keeping a short list of tricky problems you can do every now and then (this helped me the most). I'd post mine if I hadn't blatantly copied them from TIA and CA.

Anyways, best of luck to all.

Hi guys/girls,

I just want to know the difficulty levels of ASM 11 PEs for MFE in comparison to real exam.
Based on 72% cut off mark. This was what I fared

1.) PE 1: 22/30
2.) PE 2 22/30
3.) PE 3 failed about 19/30
4.) PE 4: failed
5.) PE 5: 20/30
6.) PE 6 22/30

In every PE, I always encounter new question types. I think I am not going to pass like this. Any tips?

ASM Chapter 23

What is the likelihood of getting a question on Chapter 23 of the ASM (stochastic integration)?
I am running short on time so I am thinking of skipping that chapter completely. I took a peek and it looks SCARY!!

I am about to start chapter 19 but frankly the last couple chapters have completely exhausted any brain power I thought I still had... I seriously hope that was the worst of it.

ps. Why isn't there a crying or a despairing "smiley" pulling its hair out when you need one??

You might want to put that in the March 2014 study thread. I'm on a similar boat as you and looking for ways to maximize my time. I did hear multiple people say they skipped 23 and it didn't affect them during the real thing, but I am a secondary source and not very trustworthy. Best of luck to you!

Not at all high priority, imo, however: I had no questions on it, but my friends claim they had quite a few on that section.
