Apparently Larry Scott reads the AO and has opted out of having the Pac12 Championship in 2020 at Levi Stadium. I'd guess it's timed to happen with the opening of the Las Vegas stadium opening in 2020.

Yahoo - Pac12 opts out of 2020 title game in Santa Clara

Next steps:

1. Las Vegas Bowl moves to Las Vegas Stadium (already planned).
2. Pac12 Championship happens in Las Vegas Stadium for the foreseeable future.
3. Las Vegas Bowl successfully pushes to be in the rotation for the playoff semis. (Partnering with the Outback Bowl.)
4. After a few years, Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Cotton, Peach, Orange, Las Vegas, and Outback Bowls put their weight behind an 8 team playoff. Quarters, semis, and championship games plus one "spotlight" at-large game rotate through those sites.

(I added the "spotlight" game just to make the math work, but I like the idea the more I think about it. A bowl game with no tie-ins, no playoff implications, just a "let's do this" game with two teams that lots of people would like to see play. Heck, maybe even have a ranked-choice fan vote to see who would play in it.)

That Vegas Stadium will bid for Super Bowls and College Football Championship games. heck, even NCAA Basketball championships.
Interesting that it will have a grass field for Raiders but field turf for UNLV.

Stadium will also have a memorial flame lit for Al Davis. Or, rather, lit daily BY Al Davis, from Hell.

Oregon's final inked class looks pretty great both from a talent perspective but even more from a filling needs prospective. Ranked #7 by Rivals, #7 by 247 Sports, and #6 on ESPN.

Hoping we can sign a WR coach soon (hoping for Dunn out of Ok State) and sign Puka Nacua as well.

It's been up and down for Oregon. They did sign Juwan Johnson which is probably good to get someone with game experience on the field amongst the freshmen.

I still wish we could have got Puka.

We lost Leavitt to a mutual parting of the ways. I'm not sure what to think about it but the writing has been on the wall for a long time.

That is pretty awesome for the Dawgs.
Normally they don't pull in these recruits, particularly in the drawn out processes like this.

Oregon hires Andy Avalos away from Boise State. Don't know much about him but given how sad BSU fans are to see him leave, probably a good hire.

DC + LB coach to replace Leavitt who held the same responsibilities.
