Default Does the CAS Course 1 material overlap with CPCU 540?

Pretty new to the P&C world...

I've entertained the thought studying from May 30th to some undetermined date near the end of the testing window. This will be cramming a bit, but it would be more manageable if some of the material from CPCU 540 is on Course 1, as I did this for the finance VEE.

Thanks.

Not really. It overlaps quite a bit with CPCU 520, but that won't fill a VEE req for you.

Course 1 and Course 2 together give you credit for cpcu 500 and CPCU 520.

Getting ACAS under the current system essentially gives you credit for 3 cpcu exams. I think i'm going to do the cpcu's in between sittings.

Worked for me. Took a moment, but it popped up in an Acrobat window.

I think it's my mask . . . seems to scare a lot of things into "fixing itself" . ..
