1861 with a fairly quick attempt on my part, and my over the board is right around 1700. As usual, I think it biases ratings upwards a bit. I actually liked the series of problems though as they weren't all clear tactical wins, or at least they weren't for my ability level.

That was fun! I was 2251, which is way too high for me as well. I had a hard time with the puzzles jumping around from mate in 1 / capture hanging queen to simple positional moves.

I enjoyed this too! fwiw mine said 2301, which is higher than my actual rating, but believable for me.

My take is that since they don't seem to factor in the time it takes you to respond, this is probably more about measuring max strength. For example, I can definitely play at a 2300+ level at times, and apparently solve puzzles at that level, but it's a much higher bar to consistently play at that level and be rated there.

I imagine that's true at all rating levels, and maybe why most people seem to be getting a number that sounds too high.

In the previous season I blundered a nearly equal position against Minnesotah by overlooking kxf2. Yesterday I saw a GM blunder in nearly the exact same way, overlooking kxf7. I can officialy say I can blunder like a GM

My game vs. Werewolf ended in a draw. I screwed up the opening a little and did not get the positional compensation I wanted for gambitting a pawn. I was able to get it back, and it ended up being a bishop vs. knight end game. All the pawns were on the same side of the board, and I didn't think I could use my bishop for an advantage so I traded off and hoped Werewolf blundered with the pawn end game but it ended up drawn.

gg werewolf!
