Great idea. I'm gonna go start printing!

We're trying to get LDFs to calculate the reserves for prior accident years. Why would we bring everything to the latest accident year and a different trend level?

I just rewatched that scene. Man social attitudes have changed a lot in the last 15 years.

And it reminds me of what a pre-Google Maps world was like. Good times, man.

I'll try this! Thanks!

I've been recording audiobooks of the papers to listen to while I sleep and it's been helping out enormously so far!

I keep Brehm under my pillow so my brain can absorb it while I sleep in addition to having headshots of the authors around my house

Well, AY trend shouldn't affect LDFs (only CY trend would), so it's not necessarily wrong to bring everything to the latest AY.. But yeah, I guess I don't have a good answer. Now that we've had this conversation though, I'll definitely remember to bring the triangle to the level of the latest AY.

When I get to studying the ERM stuff, I'll print a headshot of Brehm on a paper bag and put it on my gf's head. It's not enough to just have their headshots around the house, you need to spend time with them in public too.

Is your gf cool with you hanging out with five other bag-headshot chicks too? Because there's a lot of "et al" in that Brehm text.
