Oh sorry I missed that! Somehow I've always thought the pilot questions are in 35-question exams only.

Friend got a response today from SOA about the missing greek formulas. They said that those problems were originally made to be pilot questions and will not be scored on the exam. They said that they checked all of the problems that needed the formulas and confirmed that they were all pilot questions.

That sounds like a bunch of bull... These questions have been tested before in prior MFE sittings, have been on the syllabus, and are in the source material. They are just trying to cover their butts.

God, waiting for this grade sucks. I'm already studying for the next exam, hopefully I won't have to turn course in September and try to pass this god damn exam again.

Anyone here ever tried the ACTEX or ASM manuals or flashcards to prepare for an exam? I'm thinking about getting flash cards but ASM puts me to sleep, not sure if their flash cards will as well.

Although we don't offer flashcards, if you want a copy of CA IFM formula sheet to study, you can email me at tteh@coachingactuaries.com, and I'm more than happy to send you one (for free).

What time are exam results usually posted by the SOA? 10 am central?

I can't wait for this week to be over.
