He's still tryin' to beat the clock
Think of me what you will

How many Americans regularly use pot? The number is, errr, higher than you think

I have never, ever used MJ or THC containing substances.

I am a little intrigued by the idea of taking a little vacay to Colorado for a {semi} legalized experience.

I am still concerned about ever being drug tested. The last time was the 1990's - but I don't ever want to be in a position to be locked into an employer because "I can't change jobs for 6 months... I might have to pee in a cup!"

Do companies that drug screen even screen for MJ these days?

Also, the thought of inhaling smoke is quite repulsive to me. I would have to use edibles.

Thing about inhaling is that you get high pretty quickly, but you won't be high as long. With edibles, you don't know when it will start or when it will end. For someone being high for the first time, the latter can be quite frightening.

My local weekly "stupid varieties" poker night has a few guys smoking pretty much the whole time. I have no idea how they stay conscious. one guy had a bottle of THC. Said, "take a toothpick, dip it in about a third of the length, then suck on it." Like it was LSD or something. Uh, no, thank you.

That's because edibles have bad quality control in terms of active drug content. Better methods being used, yielding a more consistent result, will make for a more consistent experience.

I hope so.
I haven't had a good experience in a while, though my life is, on the whole, relatively awesome to me.

No doubt true. But also, if there is a delay until onset, people are overdoing it in the latency period (perhaps 10 doses or more) and then getting an overwhelming experience when it finally enters the bloodstream.

There's an IBNR joke in there, but i'm still working on it. Inebriated but not receptive? I think I can do better. Ingested but not recognized. A little better
