Default Database for Actuarial Research

Hello there,

I'm doing some research into the P&C overseas market (in particular Asia and Latin America) and wondering if anyone has any idea/info regarding any databases out there concerning homeowners insurance.

What I need is industry/country-level data on sum insured (or limit) and average loss.

I'm at the early stage of my research and so literally any lead would be appreciated. This includes (but not limited to) database with insurance info on emerging and developed (US, UK, Aus) markets.

I have in mind the insurance equivalence of WRDS database for academics in financial world (

Thank you!

For Asia I am afraid that you should learn Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages, aha. However, the insurance associations of the industry may publish English version.
