I would have said 9 months of honeymoon before Pelosi remembered she was a liberal.

As is, she is going to make life very difficult for the freshman democrats. Because when Newt came in with the big freshman class EVERYONE knew what the agenda was, and that's more or less why they got voted in. A lot of the freshmen democrats claim to be moderate.

I also don't know anyone who voted democrat who thinks the party is lily-white.

OTOH, they're not hitting on pages and covering it up, or letting the president erode our civil rights and lead us into debt up to our eyeballs, yet, so it's still an improvement.
