Default Grammy Award Game 2007

This is more or less the same contest as I've run since 2004, which was a direct rip-off of CubedBee's Oscar contest (since passed on to Super Silver Haze and liztee123). There's way too many categories to pick them all, so we're mostly picking the big ones with a few exceptions mixed in... Of the awards that aren't handed out on the main telecast, I believe they are announced during the preshow (and will be named on the Grammy website)... so we'll make the deadline for entries at 5PM eastern on Grammy Day, February 11th... Don't PM me your picks, post them here and increase your post count. I'm going to be entering your picks into a spreadsheet for later reference, so if you change your mind, it's easier for me if you quote your old post and make the changes, rather than edit your original entry. In the event of a tie based on points, the earlier entry will win.

The offical scoring will be:

Album of the Year: 3 points
Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist: 2 points
Other Categories: 1 point

Tom has already given the good word that there's a prize at stake for the winner!

I'm lucky to have heard of more than one or two in any given category! In most cases, I picked the one I'd heard of! And I did pick UB40...

I picked them too. And I have heard of the artists, just not necessarily the song/album. Like I didn't know some of these people had songs out this year.

I didn't know UB40 had put anything out since that remake of "I Can't Help FAlling in Love With You", which I think was early 90's.
