If he had picked anyone other than SSH, I could take it as a burn.

Yay, Jotto! But I'd be up for games I haven't played before, too. Which is everything other than Jotto.

And obviously, everything ury's done was at a level no other mortal could achieve...

No poll coming, it's not that kind of thread.
I've been getting the bug to play a game, but shouldn't we wait untili after RPS ends?

6-player bidding "card" game. I keep thinking about running it on Fridays. Then I keep hoping someone else will do so instead. It was one of the survivor games, so it would be linked in the first post of the survivor thread. (it's not the longer-term, larger-audience type of game that you usually like to run)

I never watched the 2004 reboot and I've been catching up on BBCAmerica which shows two episodes every Saturday. Amazing how many bad directions the plot/series went in but always pulled the overall storyline out of the fire. I think they're down to the last ten or fifteen episodes...

I hadn't seen it originally and watched in on Netflix on-demand a while back. I was watching episodes quickly enough (10 a week or so) that the plot corrections happened relatively quickly. My overall lasting impression has been that it's one of the best shows ever made, based on overall scope of plot, how things hung together over multiple seasons, character development, and the show not going to crap in the final season/finale.
