2002 Grad here.

Went to an alumni function on Saturday. Won a door prize. JoePa autographed mini-helmet. Pretty sweet.

Word has it Arnie is cutting back his work load and planning to retire soon.

That is true; I just graduated last month and he wasn't my teacher for the 2nd Life Contingencies course. However, he did still teach Theory of Interest to the Juniors.

That's what I had heard...although he claimed that was not a work cut back because he only ever teaches one class in the Spring anyway.

I'm taking 410 (Compound Interest & Annuities) with Shapiro in the fall... and am pretty confident I can do well despite what I've heard about his classes. But do you have any great advice?
