The lists about Pension

Any good lists from the two notes about Pension (FE-C131-07, Actuarial/accounting bias enables equity investment)???

I have found Q12 (8F 2004) asked about Tepper tax arbitrage, so at least I need to understand this one. But what else? esp. the "Actuarial/accounting bias", it's so long and I wonder how detailed the exam could ask about.

What does ACTEX flash card say about this??

Tepper Arbitrage is gone from the sylabus now, correct?

It's funny, I was going through questions from Frank's manual from last spring, and the questions he picked for each end of section seem to be from all the material that was removed from the exam. What are the odds? I feel like a lot of these questions are still familiar, although I don't know if it's from seeing them a year ago. Do you guys know where any of these questions still apply elsewhere in the sylabus, or are all of these throwaways now?

Section A - from FE115 (this is PR prem. premium margin, new profit margin Q that I think is somewhere else now??? Yes, no?)

Section B - from FE108 (question using [Equity+FranchVal]xTSR=increase net assets + increase FranchVal + Dividends=FranchValxFGR+EquityxROE )

Section C - Questions from chapters 1-4 in the Mergers and Acquisitions text

Section D - from FE122 (March's Disent, recognition criteria)

Section E - from NAAJ Volue9 #3 (value of shifting $ from cash to equity, increase in capitalisation, amount of market capitalization from each $ shifted)

Section F - Hardy Chapter 13 (Equity Indexed Annuity calculations, PTP indexation)

Section G - from FE131 (Tepper Arbitrage, black arbitrage)

Section H - Hardy Chapter 4 (CIA accumulation minimum requirements, calculation of LogN model fit), Hardy Chapter 13 (Equity Indexed Annuity calculations, PTP indexation again)


Are any of these in other sections? It almost seems like the SOA went through Franks manual when deciding what to take off the exam, and based it on what he thought was the most important.
