Default Libertarians Are Terrorists, Says the State of Alabama

Quote:
The Alabama Department of Homeland Security (ALDHS), established in June of 2003, has recently constructed a website that defines Domestic Terrorists as those who oppose gun control and a strong federal government.

Under the heading “Anti-Government Groups”, the site displays a flag that is widely considered one of the first symbols of American patriotism and reads, “In general, these terrorists claim that the U.S. government is infringing on their individual rights, and/or that the government's policies are criminal and immoral. Such groups may hold that the current government is violating the basic principles laid out by the U.S. Constitution…”

Doesn't that mean Republicans are terrorists, too?

So:
Opposing a strong federal gummint = terrorism.
Killing thousands of innocent Iraqis <> terrorism.

And I hate to break it to the flagwaverz, but this means there have been thousands of terrorist acts on American soil since 9/11. Hundreds today alone, right here on the AO!

Be vigilant. Watch out for libertarians hanging out near petrochemical plants.

I wonder if any of the people with their jobs in the Alabama DHS got their jobs because of political connections? Probably not. When it comes to fighting terrorists, it's about getting the best and the brightest. That's our only chance, which is why we got the gummint in charge.

The link he gives is inoperable. Can you show us this website he claims says this?

It's Alabama, it only makes slightly more sense than California.

1. First of all, kind of a lame blog that gives you "directions" to the actual AL DHS site instead of a link. They don't call it Hyper Text Transfer Protocol for nothing, Chris Brunner.

2. Once I get to the actual site, I'll refute your claims. Sorry for picking on your lame threads, and not the more substantive ones. I take the low-hanging fruit.

I can get to the Brunner blog, I can't get to the Alabama TAP site he directs you to.
